Van Lanschot Kempen (VLK) – an independent wealth manager – sought our expertise to find a traditional workspace they could make their own. Due to the nature of their business, high-quality IT and access control entering the office were key factors when considering the fit-out.

Value Added

After conducting a thorough search focusing on The City, we identified a unique office space on the 14th floor of 20 Gracechurch Street with panoramic views that perfectly aligned with VLK’s requirements.

When discussing the layout and design, VLK prioritised having a premium and traditional office. Making Moves Technical defined the key areas and functionalities, dividing the office into two zones. The front-of-house zone featured a welcome area and an impressive 14-person boardroom, while the back-of-house zone required specific security and access control for the desking area and kitchen space. It was imperative for the client to create an office that was an extension of the company’s brand. 

Collaboration was critical to the success of the project, as Making Moves Technical worked closely with both the team at VLK and the landlord, who delivered the construction portion of the fit out. The result is an impressive open space that supports VLK’s future growth.
