Superscript, an insurance technology company, was looking to relocate their office to London’s financial district. With ambitious growth plans, their goal was to create a space that could accommodate their expanding team and reflect their forward-thinking brand. Key requirements included a variety of workstations, collaboration areas, meeting rooms, and a multi-purpose space for events and all-hands meetings. Value added:

Our search team advised Superscript during their office search, helping them secure their ideal space in Eastcheap. For the fit out, our project managers oversaw the design and build of their new 5,790 sq ft office over one floor.

The space features a balanced mix of fixed-height and adjustable workstations to support focus work as well as collaboration. There are informal touchdown spaces throughout for spur-of-the-moment team huddles. The meeting rooms are equipped with video conferencing capabilities and acoustics treatments for optimal functionality.

The highlight is the multi-purpose all-hands space outfitted with event technology like microphones and screens. This allows remote employees to dial in and stay connected. It also doubles up as a space for yoga, celebrations and social events, with a tea point and flexible furniture nearby.

Throughout the fit out, sustainability was top of mind. We provided guidance on tracking utility usage to support Superscript’s B-Corp commitments and identify areas for improvement. The contemporary, tech-centric design reflects the brand’s culture as an innovative insurer ready to shake up their industry.
