In 2020, Getech wanted to downsize having established that they could work from home effectively. Their office had another 2 years left on its lease, and Making Moves found a tenant for the space who offered 50% of the quoting rent. We then used that offer to successfully negotiate against another occupier, to achieve an above market rent for the property, during lockdown.

Making Moves found a tenant that was interested in Getech’s office during lockdown, when the market was non-existent. Once an occupier was found, we negotiated up the agreed rent, and reduce the rent free periods.
