10x Banking, “the world’s most powerful cloud native banking platform”, briefed Making Moves on 12,000-15,000 sqft, a decrease from their existing office due to an increasing number of employees working remotely. Priority areas were a central location with good transport links, building security and a manned reception and hybrid working capabilities.

After undergoing a thorough search analysis, we identified that sub 16,000 sqft would not be big enough for their London team, so we challenged the brief and reshaped it to find a space that still ticked all 10x’s boxes but wouldn’t feel too small for the growing business. Upon finding the new space in Holborn, we undertook a building survey and project managed the fit out, which included adding a reception area, client facing meeting rooms and a boardroom.
We then reconfigured the open plan desking space to introduce collaboration areas designed to inspire employees when in the office. And, to make sure the new office met 10x’s standards both practically and aesthetically, we oversaw the security and AV installation and added various features in the bold signature purple.
