BEAT Services LTD

• 15000 sqft • 145 people

Beat Services LTD, a growing insurance firm, appointed Making Moves to manage their relocation and fit out project in the City. Their previous space at Bevis Marks no longer supported the needs of a growing team. The new brief centred on increasing desk capacity, improving client-facing areas, and delivering a brighter, more functional workspace to encourage staff back into the office. Budget control was a key priority, alongside acoustic improvements and delivery within tight timeframes.

PRIORITIES

  • Increased desk capacity
  • Improved client-facing areas
  • Brighter, more functional workspace
  • Encourage staff back to the office
  • Enhanced meeting room acoustics
  • Upgraded HVAC
  • IT/AV system integration
  • Professional, future-ready design

Our agency and technical team carried out extensive space planning and budgeting exercises across multiple properties before securing 15,000 sq ft at the Hallmark Building. A strong commercial deal was negotiated, including a substantial capital contribution to support the fit out. Making Moves Technical led the 9-week CAT B fit out, including demolition of a pre-existing tenant fit out. The design incorporated key requirements such as improved acoustic performance in meeting rooms, upgraded ventilation and temperature control, and a client-facing front-of-house suite with a dedicated utilities room.

Throughout the project, we worked closely with Beat’s in-house IT and AV teams to ensure seamless system integration. Weekly meetings and regular site visits kept the tight programme on track, allowing for quick decision-making and close coordination. The new workspace features high ceilings, a bright and open-plan layout, and a 20-person boardroom – all designed to support Beat’s growing headcount and create a professional, future-facing workplace. Delivered on time and within budget, the new office strikes the right balance between functionality and brand experience, creating a welcoming space for both clients and employees.
