Meet Dan: National Apprenticeship Week 2021
With it being National Apprenticeship Week, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to introduce you to our Apprentice Building Surveyor, Dan.
Dan joined Making Moves in 2019 and has since helped us grow our Technical offering. Speaking to Tobi, CEO and Founder of Making Moves about why he wanted to hire an apprentice, he said;
“The current standard education format in our country of school, then A Levels then University isn’t for everyone. However there are still people who want to secure a degree but work at the same time.
The Apprentice scheme allows companies to reach hard workers who want to study but also gain invaluable experience through hands on work experience. The idea of being able to nurture talent within our business and follow them on their journey from school leaver to a qualified surveyor is a rewarding and immensely satisfying journey for both us and Dan.
Dan is like a sponge, he wants to soak up everything. He is learning every day whilst also embracing the culture and goals of Making Moves. Dan has fully immersed himself in our company and we are fully invested in him to succeed and perform.”
Hear what Dan has to say about his apprenticeship, Making Moves and entering the working world.
