THM Partners LLP, a leading independent restructuring practice, was experiencing growth and required a new office to redefine their workplace and encourage teams to return to the office. They appointed Making Moves to help them find a new space, with the Making Moves Technical project team managing the fit out. Read on to learn how we helped create their perfect space.

Value added:

A multi-faceted project, we provided THM with a comprehensive service that included a search for the new office, a building survey, dilapidations negotiation (on their old office space), and project management of the fit out. We also completed a dilapidations assessment on the completed space to provide an estimate of their dilapidations liability at the end of their lease.

As THM’s ways of working had changed a result of the pandemic, the overarching brief for the fit out was to create a collaborative space to encourage people to physically come together regularly. Together with Oktra we created a multi-functional space including client meeting rooms, ‘Think Tank’ rooms, focussed working areas, informal collaboration areas and ‘Zoom’ rooms. As a business working with stressed and distressed businesses, a key priority was to ensure the space’s acoustics were optimal to provide sufficient privacy during meetings.

Outside of the working areas is a large kitchen and social space for lunches, coffees, informal collaboration, and company meetings/briefings – all featuring THM’s bold brand colours to create a dynamic space for employees to thrive.
