Guild E-Sports, the brand co-owned by David Beckham, marks an exciting milestone with the opening of its new headquarters in Shoreditch today. The 22,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility is poised to nurture some of E-Sports’ most promising rising stars.

Gaming and E-Sports have rapidly emerged as one of the fastest-growing industries globally and in the UK. Guild E-Sports, with its focus on developing top E-Sports talent, occupies a contemporary warehouse-style building that perfectly complements their vision in the heart of Shoreditch.

Stepping into the ground floor entrance, just off Shoreditch High Street, feels like entering a trendy creative studio. The contemporary black, red, and white furnishings harmoniously reflect the Guild branding. A large timber island stands prominently on the back wall, accompanied by a DJ booth and a football table, exuding a vibrant and inviting atmosphere.

Hamish Allan, Director of Technical at Making Moves London, expressed enthusiasm for the project, saying, “This project is one of the most exciting we’ve done. Super brands are present everywhere in the building, and the high-spec tech aesthetic is overarching throughout the fit-out – a new era and an exciting new sector for the industry.”

The ground floor houses a dedicated training space equipped with screens and consoles for players to practice under the guidance of a tutor. Additionally, there’s a review area where demanding speeds are required for performance analysis. On the lower ground floor, a parent’s lounge provides a comfortable retreat with sofas and screens. Throughout the entire building, positive affirmations graffitied on internal walls emphasize the company’s commitment to safeguarding.

Ascending the original concrete staircase leads to the Subway pro-lounge, a retro gaming area where players can unwind and enjoy a bottle of Coke Zero, another of Guild E-Sports’ brand partners. Subway’s classic green and yellow colorways dominate the pro-lounge, with even the Xbox wrapped in branding.

The building thoughtfully retains various original features from its prior architect resident, preserving its warehouse and industrial aesthetic.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in executing this project, including the Guild, Thirdway and Making Moves London teams. If you’d like support on your next office move, get in touch today.
